You can count on me! From Sept. 20, 1987, to April 30, 1990, a pair of former friends gave a lesson in laughs and fatherhood to a girl who is the daughter of one of them in the hit show My Two Dads. But what are the beloved stars of the hilarious ’80s sitcom up to today? We caught up with Greg Evigan, Paul Reiser, and TV daughter Staci Keanan — all three of whom went on to have fruitful careers in the entertainment industry.

Michael and Joey had difficulties splitting custody of daughter Nicole Bradford, but Staci had no trouble dividing her time. After starring for seven seasons as Dana Foster on Step by Step, she became a lawyer and then went on to be a deputy DA for Los Angeles County under her given name, Anastasia Sagorsky.

Paul Reiser

Though dad Michael Taylor was a successful financial adviser, Paul didn’t need anyone’s advice on success. He not only starred on Mad About You, but wrote best-selling books like Couplehood, had recurring roles on TV’s Red Oaks and Stranger Things, appeared in movies à la Whiplash and continued his stand-up.

While dad Joey Harris may have been a struggling artist, Greg hasn’t exactly hurt for work. Besides starring in TV’s TekWar franchise, he’s appeared in over 60 TV movies and series, from Melrose Place and Touched by an Angel to General Hospital and 9-1-1. And, last year, he celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary.
