Kevin married Kyra Sedgwick in 1988 after working together on Lemon Sky. The couple welcomed two children together, son Travis and daughter Sosie, the latter of whom is also an actress.

Lori Singer

Lori Singer played Ariel Moore in the cult classic film. The Fame alum added several more acting credits to her résumé after Footloose, including 1985’s The Falcon and the Snowman, 1987’s Summer Heat, 1993’s Sunset Grill and more. She took a break from acting in the late ‘90s but made her return in 2004’s When Will I Be Loved.

Most recently, Lori appeared in 2023’s Rachel Hendrix. As for her personal life, she was married to Richard David Emery from 1980 to 1996. They welcomed one son together, Jacques Rio Emery, in 1991.

Dianne Wiest

After playing Vi Moore in Footloose, Dianne Wiest earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Hannah and Her Sisters in 1986. In 1994, she took home her second Oscar in the category for Bullets Over Broadway.

From 2015 to 2019, Dianne starred in Life in Pieces. She became part of the series Mayor of Kingstown in 2021. In addition to earning critical acclaim during her acting career, the Parenthood actress is a mom to adopted daughters Emily and Lily.

John Lithgow

John Lithgow played Reverend Shaw Moore in the 1984 cult classic, and his memorable roles didn’t stop there. The Tony winner has tackled all avenues of the entertainment industry, from groundbreaking performances in 3rd Rock From the Sun and Dexter to scoring an Emmy award for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in The Crown.

John, who has been married to his second wife, Mary Yeager, since 1981, is a dad of three.

Lynne Marta

Lynne Marta, who played Lulu Warnicker in the film, died at age 78 on January 11, 2024, after battling cancer, her friend Chris Saint-Hilaire told The Hollywood Reporter. The late actress is best remembered for roles in Diagnosis Murder, The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives and more.
