Victoria Beckham Is About To Spice Up Our Lives With Her Very Own YouTube Channel
Forget about Bend It Like Beckham — someone should film a Beauty Like Beckham! Being a mom, wife, clothing designer, and former Spice Girl just isn’t enough for Victoria Beckham. The fashion guru recently announced that she is capitalizing on her knowledge of all-things-beauty by creating her own YouTube channel.
Joined by fashion editor Derek Blasberg at her Dover Street store in London, Victoria shared the exciting news via Instagram on Nov. 24. “Today I have special news to share,” the 44-year-old wrote in the caption. “I will be launching my own @youtube channel with beauty tutorials, styling tips, and lots of stuff from me. Stay tuned!”
Perhaps Victoria’s success has inspired her to do more. In September, the brunette beauty celebrated the 10 year anniversary of her very successful “Victoria Beckham” clothing line. She even took home the Fashion Icon Award at the 2018 People’s Choice Awards. “This is a new chapter right now,” Victoria said in the announcement video. “I can put my foot on the gas and do everything that I’ve wanted to do for a long, long time.”
On Nov. 5, the Spice Girls announced that they were reuniting after over 10 years and going on tour in 2019. While all of our 90s dreams are coming true, many were heartbroken to hear that “Posh Spice” (AKA Victoria) would not be involved on this six-date concert tour. Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, and Melanie Chisholm of the iconic English pop group admitted the reason why Victoria would be absent from the tour.
“She just didn’t want to do it… She was busy with her fashion and she has moved on,” Geri said on The Jonathan Ross Show on Nov. 10, while making it known that there are no hard feelings. “The philosophy of us lot is that we are a band, on and off the stage and we care each other, we support each other and we support her and she has been a huge part of our lives and we care about her so it’s all good.”
It’s lovely to see that even all these years later, the Spice Girls will always support each other. As for Victoria, we can’t wait to see all the beauty and fashion advice that she has to share.
