Friends and Family Say Goodbye to ‘The Carol Burnett Show’ Star Tim Conway at Funeral — Pics
It is time to say goodbye to Tim Conway, as the late actor’s friends and family gathered at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills, California, to pay their respects to The Carol Burnett Show star who passed away this month.
The comedian’s rep, Howard Bragman, confirmed Tim’s death to Closer Weekly on May 14. Tim passed away in the Los Angeles area — he was 85. Prior to his death, the McHale’s Navy costar suffered complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH), but had no signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s, according to People.
Tim, who had quite the career, was all about making people laugh, revealing that comedy came naturally to him. “I had no professional training,” he said on an episode of The Interviews: An Oral History of Television in 2004. “I had a sense of humor and had been in front of a microphone.”
Tim’s loved ones all joined together recently at his funeral to pay tribute to him.
