Smokey Robinson Says Cissy Houston is “Really Struggling” With Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Hospitalization
Following the loss of her daughter in 2012, Cissy Houston is now dealing with another family tragedy as her granddaughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, remains in a coma after being found unconscious in a bathtub.
During a new interview, Houston family friend Smokey Robinson, 74, said the gospel singer, 81, is having a hard time coping with the state of her granddaughter’s health.
“She’s out of it,” he said in a new interview. “She’s really struggling with all of this.”

Bobbi Kristina, 21, was placed in a medically induced coma on Saturday, Jan. 31 — just 11 days before the three-year anniversary of the death of her mother, Whitney Houston — after she was found unresponsive inside her Roswell, Ga. home.
There are conflicting reports regarding the current status of Bobbi Kristina’s life support.

This morning, ‘Page Six‘ reported the families were preparing to take her off at the stroke of midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 11 so she may die on the same date that Whitney passed away. ‘Us Weekly,’ however, is now stating Bobbi Kristina will not be taken off of life support tomorrow.
Smokey spoke to ‘Entertainment Tonight.’
