Melania Trump Plans A Tree In Christian Louboutin Heels

Are we seeing this correctly? Apparently so! First Lady Melania Trump planted a tree at the White House on Monday, Aug. 27 wearing a fabulous outfit that included a long floral skirt and a pink tank. But what really got her followers going was her footwear — a pair of Christian Louboutin heels that she clearly didn’t care about wearing in the dirt!

The 48-year-old took to Twitter to open up about her experience, but didn’t exactly mention her rather odd shoe choice for the event. “I had the honor to contribute to the beautiful & historic @WhiteHouse grounds today by planting a sapling from the Eisenhower Oak. Thank you to @WhiteHouseHstry for organizing the #PresidentialSites and to the previous first family descendants who joined us today,” she wrote.

Fans had conflicting opinions on Donald Trump‘s wife’s choice to wear a pair of inches-high heels. Some were accepting of it. “I actually love her, but I was wondering who in the hell can plant a tree in six-inch shoes. However, I get tired of hearing about her shoes. She was a runway model so I guess she can probably do anything in heels,” one user wrote. Another added, “I honestly kind of love that she is wearing stilettos.”

Some, on the other hand, were sarcastic and not too thrilled. “I always plant my trees in four-inch spikey heels don’t you?” Another added, “You guys, Melania stood on dirt today for the first time.” One exclaimed, “She looks so RIDICULOUS!”

This isn’t the first time Melania has donned a pair of the designer shoes, though. During a European trip in July with Donald, the mom-of-one was spotted wearing at least four pairs of the stylish pumps. Lucky for her, she’ll have a backup pair since her latest are likely full of dirt…
