Coincidence? Meghan Markle’s Ex Trevor Engelson Got Remarried 5 Days After Royal Baby Was Born
Talk about timing! Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson, married Tracey Kurland on Saturday, May 11 — just five days after the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to her new son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor — In Touch can confirm.
The 42-year-old and the blonde beauty, 31, said “I do” at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California. Trevor and Tracey got engaged in June 2018 after three years of dating — less than a month after Harry and Meghan tied the knot — and proposed to her while they were on a wine tour of Napa Valley. “Luckiest guy I know! Get ready to party,” he captioned a photo of himself with his bride-to-be showing off her gorgeous ring shortly afterward.
The brunette beauty, 37, and Trevor wed in Jamaica in September 2011 but divorced two years later, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, they celebrated with 100 guests at the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios over a four-day weekend.
Fortunately, the U.K. transplant found her Prince Charming since she started dating Prince Harry, 34, in November 2016. The royal couple recently welcomed their little bundle of joy into their lives. “We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6, 2019,” read the official announcement on Instagram. “Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7 lbs. 3 oz.”
However, there is one person that will not be sending them a congratulatory message: Trevor. “Trevor doesn’t really think about Meghan, as he’s in a very happy relationship and about to be married,” a source told Us Weekly on May 6. “He will not be reaching out to congratulate them, as Meghan and Trevor no longer speak.”
It’s safe to say the Suits alum doesn’t seem to mind, since she is soaking in every minute with her new baby. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I mean, I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy,” she gushed about her family on May 8. “Thank you, everyone, for the well-wishes and the kindness, it just means so much.”
It seems like everyone has moved on — once and for all.
