Meghan Markle Already Has A Gift For When She Has A Daughter One Day

On Oct. 15, the world was blessed with the news that Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, are expecting their first child in spring 2019. At this time, the sex of the little royal is still unknown. However, it seems the newly minted Duchess of Sussex has always hoped for a daughter!

Speaking with HELLO! Canada in 2015, the now-37-year-old revealed that she already has a gift in mind for her future baby girl — a spectacular Cartier Tank Française watch. “When I found out Suits had been picked up for our third season – which, at the time, felt like such a milestone – I totally splurged and bought the two-tone version [of the watch],” she told the publication.

Meghan was serious about the splurging, too! After all, the timepiece starts at a whopping $5,500. “I had it engraved on the back, ‘To M.M. From M.M,’ and I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That’s what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them,” the brunette beauty explained. Aww, how sweet is that?

Of course, Meghan couldn’t have possibly known in 2015 that she would one day be married to her very own prince charming, but we’re so happy to see that her dream of passing down this gift might just become a reality. In addition to the watch, Meghan and Harry received their very-first joint baby gift just hours after the pregnancy announcement broke.

While kicking off their Australian tour, the couple was presented with an adorable stuffed animal kangaroo with its joey tucked into its pouch. Along with the cute toy, the royal couple also received a pair of baby Uggs. To be honest, there’s really nothing more adorable than baby shoes. We absolutely cannot wait to see Meghan and Harry’s bundle of joy sporting those Uggs.
