Kate Hudson Shares Sweet Message for Son Ryder on His 14th Birthday

Oh, how time flies! Kate Hudson reminded all her fans that her eldest son, Ryder, is already 14 years old when she gave him a sweet birthday shout-out via Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 7.

The actress shared a new photo of her teen boy on the social media platform, and it’s hard to believe how grown up he is! It seems like just yesterday when the actress welcomed her first-born. Watch the video below to see Kate’s sweet shout-out to her son, Ryder, on his special day!

How cute was that?! Ryder seems like such a good kid! Kate welcomed her son back in January 2004 with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson. The two were married from 2000 until 2007. The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star is also a mom to a six-year-old son, Bingham, with her ex-fiancé, Matt Bellamy.

Kate has proven time and time again that she’s super close with her boys. In a recent interview, she joked about how Ryder has handled his mom’s latest buzzcut for an upcoming role. “Ryder‘s like, ‘Mom, you’re cramping my style,'” she quipped. “But when I did it, he was like, ‘Oh my God, we actually… It was the first time he even could see that we looked, you know, that he looked like his mommy. But it was really cool.” Well, you’re a cool mom, Kate!

We just hope the teenager likes his mom’s new boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa! On their first date anniversary last month, Kate gushed about her man. “The first time I met Danny I was 23 and enormously pregnant with Ryder,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “A year ago today Danny took me on a hike and what I thought was just a hike with a family friend turned very quickly into an unexpected first date. No moves were made on this first date. In fact, it took months for him to make a first move! And as a kiss on this bridge would have been nice, the kiss a year later was so much sweeter. So on our 15th year of knowing each other we were able to open our hearts to each other to feel so much pure love and it’s been truly incredible! ❤️Happy first date anniversary baby. #LoveThisMan ? #WhatAYear.” So sweet!
