Donny Osmond Is a ‘Proud’ Father as He Wishes Son Donald a Happy 40th Birthday
He may have quite the large family, but Donny Osmond always remembers special days — and he took some time to wish his son Donald a wonderful birthday.
The 61-year-old took to Instagram on Wednesday, July 31, to post a lovely message about his eldest child. “Happy 40th birthday to Don, the fearless leader of our #Osmond pack! 🎉 I’m proud as can be to call you my son,” the performer wrote alongside a snap of his son. “If you’re turning 40, that makes me… well, never mind. 😳😳😆 I hope you have a wonderful day with Jessi and the kids. We love you, Don!”

Fans were loving the kind words, as they took to the comments section to share some of their own. “Crazy to think we have kids that age, right?! Happy birthday to your son. God bless him with any more years,” one person said. Another added, “As my kids would say “That makes me as old as dirt” lol. We don’t look a day over … 50?!” Some people even noted how young the singer looks to have children that age.
“You don’t look old enough to have a forty year old!” a commenter said.
Donald isn’t the only child that Donny has, as he and his wife, Debbie Osmond, 60, share four more sons — Jeremy, 38, Brandon, 34, Christopher, 28, and Joshua, 21.
Donny and his five boys are also quite close — they recently headed to Alaska for quite the fishing trip. “I’ve just spent four wonderful days with my sons in #Gustavus,” the Masked Singer alum said in an Instagram photo alongside a snap of the Osmond men. “It’s absolutely beautiful up here! Thanks to Greg Taylor for showing us a great time. We caught our limits of #halibut each day. We had a blast, and I’m pretty sure I still smell like fish,🐟😆.”
Aside from his children, Donny also has ten grandchildren! He and Debbie met up with the lot earlier this month for a family reunion. “There is no better way to spend a beautiful afternoon in #Utah than with all ten of our wonderful #grandkids,” he gushed in the caption next to a pic of everyone. So sweet!
