DIY Friday: These Luminaries are the Perfect Decor for Your Next Outdoor Party!

Planning an outdoor party for family and friends? Decorate your yard with these homemade luminaries from ‘Home & Family’ stars Shirley Bovshow and Paige Hemmis! Check out the DIY directions below.

Use the following instructions to create your own DIY luminaries!

Materials:

• Galvanized bucket

• Hurricane lantern

• Porch/table leg

• Terra cotta saucer

• Redwood brick

• Screw washers

• Wood glue

• Glass glue

• Sharpie

Instructions:

1. Use a Sharpie to outline the redwood brick on the bottom of the bucket

2. Apply wood glue to the bottom of the porch leg and glue to redwood brick

3. Use drill to screw two screws into table leg to hold in place

4. Drill brick and leg into bucket

5. Drill a screw into the center of the terra cotta saucer and then screw it into the top of the table leg

6. Apply wood glue to the bottom of the hurricane lantern and then firmly place it on to terra cotta saucer
