Bobbie Thomas Reveals She's Pregnant via IVF on 'Today'! - Closer Weekly

Today Show star Bobbie Thomas‘ path to motherhood has been a long one.

But, after undergoing months of In Vitro Fertilization treatments, the style editor has announced she is pregnant with her first child!

“It’s so hard to still believe,” Bobbie, 40, told Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford on Wednesday, Dec. 3 on ‘Today.’ “I’m nervous because anything could happen.”

“It’s very exciting, of course, and we’re just trying to stay positive,” Bobbie’s husband, Michael, added. “It’s been a challenge, it’s not for the faint of heart.”

Though Bobbie isn’t very far in her pregnancy — she’s about five weeks along — the star explained she was eager to publicly share her big news with fans who have been following her IVF journey.

In late November, Bobbie underwent an embryo transfer after four unsuccessful rounds of IFV treatments.

“There are so many kind, strong women out there who have gone through what I’m going through, and many more who will one day. I hope that by talking about it as something we’re proud of, we can lean on and learn from each other,” she said of her decision to publicly chronicle her path to pregnancy.
