Blake Shelton Says He's "in a Good Place" After Miranda Lambert Divorce - Closer Weekly

Blake Shelton‘s recent divorce from Miranda Lambert hasn’t got him down!

“I’m good, I’m good. I’m in a good place. I wasn’t, but I am now. It’s amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I’ve had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I’m loving it,” the 39-year-old country singer said in a new interview on the CMT Hot 20 Countdown.

Blake and his ex-wife Miranda, 31 — who married in May 2011 — announced their split on July 20 after four years of marriage. “This is not the future we envisioned,” they said in a statement to The Associated Press. “And it is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately.”

Last month, The Voice star similarly opened up about his split from the “Little Red Wagon” singer and revealed the two remain friends despite their decision to divorce. “Our whole thing was, we are going to be cool about this, it is what it is. We’re buddies,” he said of their decision to end their marriage.
