Dad reporting for duty! Ben Affleck picked up two of his kids — Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 — from school in Los Angeles on Wednesday, September 4. The 47-year-old actor — who is also the dad of Violet, 13 — looked like he was in a great mood while he held his children’s hands and walked them to his Range Rover after meeting them at the front of the building. Cute Family

The handsome hunk wore a plaid shirt with jeans and gray sneakers during a sunny day in California. Seraphina sported a white collared shirt with a blue skirt and a rainbow backpack while Samuel wore a navy collared shirt with khaki shorts. The day before, Ben’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, was on call to get Seraphina and Samuel after they attended school. Clearly, they have this coparenting thing down!

Time With the Kiddos

The dad of three has been frequently spotted with his kiddos recently. Ben took Samuel to Disneyland in August, and he also attended his swimming class with his ex-wife a few weeks before.

In a Great Place

The Good Will Hunting alum seemed happy during the day, and there is a reason for that! The Hollywood A-lister recently celebrated one year sober. “Ben is in a great place in his recovery and life,” a source told Us Weekly. “He continues to want to be the best father and friend he can be.”

Working Together

The insider added that Ben and Jen, 47, are doing “amazingly well at coparenting.” So much so, “they have shared a great summer with the kids, doing outings, travel, etc. They have a very trusting and special relationship.”

Nothing but Love

Jen and Ben tied the knot in 2005 but decided to split in 2018. In October 2018, the 13 Going on 30 starlet moved on with John Miller. However, Ben has nothing but love for his former love. “She’s wonderful,” he said during an appearance on the Today show in March. “I’m lucky [my kids] got a great mom, and she helps out with a great deal with making sure we coparent in as good a way as possible.”

Dad Duty

Even though the California native is a celebrity, it seems like he just loves being with his youngsters at the end of the day. “I hope I’m a pretty good dad,” he said. “I certainly try very hard. Dads are so important to kids, and it’s our responsibility to be part of their lives, to be in it as moms.” You’re doing a great job, Ben!
