Food Network Star Alton Brown Marries Elizabeth Ingram — Get The Details On Their Wedding!
Congratulations are in order! Food Network star Alton Brown married his girlfriend, Elizabeth Ingram, over the weekend in Charleston, SC, he confirmed via his Instagram account.
First, he shared a photo of their dog next to a glass of champagne with the caption, “Mom and dad got married on a boat and all I got was a glass of weird fizzy stuff.” He followed up with a photo of himself and Elizabeth in their causal wedding attire with the captioned, “Yeah, we wore sneakers. #MyBouquetWasABloodyMary.” He confirmed it one last time with a tweet. “Yes, @IngramElizabeth and I did in fact tie the knot this weekend,” he wrote.
Alton and Elizabeth previously got engaged in April. Alton was once married to DeAnna Brown and they divorced in 2015. They have a 19-year-old daughter, Zoey, together.
Of course, the wedding featured some delicious food considering Alton is the star of Good Eats. “The food, based on local by-catch, was one of the best meals I can remember,” the 56-year-old captioned a photo of the meal from a restaurant called Chubby Fish. “The shrimp and rice was my favorite, though I obviously didn’t get a clear shot of it.”
In a previous interview with Food & Wine, Alton also gushed that they’d be serving caviar at their wedding. “We are caviar fanatics. We’re gonna have lots of it, good stuff,” he shared. “My fiancé and I are both pretty crazy about fish eggs, that’s the one thing we’re really splurging on.”
It’s unclear which Food Network stars attended the special event, but we have a feeling Geoffrey Zakarian was in attendance. In a previous exclusive interview, he gushed about working with Alton. “Alton Brown is so smart. He’s so creative and he’s so interesting. Alton is like the king. He’s so much fun in person,” he shared. Best man status? We think yes!
